For centuries the sea has attracted us to its beautiful gifts, among them, the scallop shell. A classic motif in design, it is a symbol of abundance and prosperity.

Each carefully handwoven basket is unique, in part due to the individual coloration and markings of the scallop shell woven into the "God's Eye," the focal point of the basket. This has become the artist's signature and represents an authentic piece of Cape Cod heritage.
